As a cook who often uses tofu, I really enjoyed seeing in the November
1996 issue of Vegetarian Times (page 16) a

utensil by a small husband-and-wife company, Unique Utensils

Cruelty Free Value Fund
I like to invest directly in stocks because I want to control where my
money is going and I don't want to support animal exploitation. Now,
in early June 1997, I have found out about this new mutual fund which
is meant as a long-term investment vehicle which will only invest in stocks
of companies that are "cruelty free". Yippee!
I discovered in July 1995 that my favorite food company,
Whole Foods,
parent of stores I've enjoyed such as Bread and Circus
and Wellspring, is on the web!
